Аннотация: Рассмотрены отдельные аспекты биологии и особенности поведения и распределения глубоководных крабов в открытых районах Северной Атлантики - на подводных возвышенностях Северо-Атлантического хребта (САХ) Углового поднятия. Показано, что глубоководный краб Gerion affinis может служить объектом специализированного промысла при условии решения некоторых технологических проблем. Данные исследований позволяют разработать рекомендации как по организации промысла, так и по технике лова краба./Various aspects of biology and behaviour of deepwater crabs from submarine rises of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and Angular Rise are considered. It is concluded that Gerion affinis can be a promising object of a directed fishery. The results obtained can be used for developing recommendations for strategy and tactics of fishery for the crab. The crab meat can be processed into delicacy products.

Аннотация: Рассматривается возможность оценки величины промыслового запаса глубоководных крабов рода Chionoecetes: Ch. japonicus из северо-западной части Японского моря и Ch. angulatus - из восточной части Охотского моря по материалам, собранным из крабовых ловушек. При прогнозировании общих допустимых уловов (ОДУ) этих объектов предлагается оценивать только запас крабов, реально используемых для выпуска продукции. В качестве промыслового запаса рассматриваются самцы, претерпевшие конечную (терминальную) линьку, достигшие морфометрической зрелости./Opportunity of the stocks estimation for the deep-water tanner crabs (Chionoecetes japonicus in the northwestern Japan Sea, Ch. angulatus in the eastern Okhotsk Sea) on the base of crab-pots catches data is analyzed. There is offered to estimate only the portion of the stocks available for processing that includes the males after terminal moult reached their morphometric maturity.

Аннотация: This book summarizes the results of the project on experimental cultivation of the red king crab Paralithodes camtschaticus (Tilesius, 1815) under laboratory and semi-industrial conditions. The book consists of two chapters. In chapter 1 ("Biology") the results of the studies on the red king crab early development are described and compared with previous data. This knowledge of the red king crab biology at the early life history stages served as a basis for establishing feasible culture methods and techniques described in chapter 2 ("Culture"). Culture methods and techniques established in accordance with specific requirements of each stage allowed to obtain viable red king crab juveniles from the eggs in 2 months with overall survival equaling 30-35%.

Аннотация: Using the method of mathematical planning of experiments on uniform-rotatable plan of the second order for two variable factors optimized ultrasonic treatment crab limbs that will allow to eliminate food phosphates, used as water-binding agents to improve the quality of the finished product and increase its output and, thereby, to avoid possible negative effects on the human organism. For the main factors that determine the effect of ultrasonic on the quality indicators and yield of cooked-frozen limbs are taken the duration of the ultrasonic treatment of crab raw and the intensity of ultrasound.
