Аннотация: За последние десятилетия такие термины, как хитин, нативный хитин, хитозан, хитоолигосахариды, олигомеры хитозана, олигосахариды хитозана, олигосахариды хитина, водорастворимые олигомеры хитозана, олигоглюкозамин, олигохитозан, гетерохитозаны, смесь хитоолигосахаридов, деградированный хитозан, низкомолекулярный хитозан и водорастворимый низкомолекулярный хитозан, нашли достаточно широкое применение в научной литературе./This report has been prepared to present clear concepts and definitions of general and specific terms with regards to chitin, chitosan and their derivatives. Current concepts of polymer chemistry and physics (monomer, oligomer, polymer, persistence length, Kuhn segment) have been used to define terms: chitin, chitosan, oligochitosan, chitooligomer, and the mixture of chitooligomers, in accordance with IUPAC Compendium of Chemical Terminology and definitions arisen from the polymeric nature of chitosan.
