Аннотация: В настоящей работе подводятся итоги исследований ВНИРО в 1939 году, которые были посвящены разработке методов воспроизводства наиболее важных промысловых рыб - осетровых, проходных сельдей и белорыбицы. Минога, вследствие малого промыслового значения, не была затронута этими исследования./This paper is a record of the results of the investigations carried out by the Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography "VNIRO" in 1939, relative to the conservation of the chief anadromous food fishes of the Volga-river: Acipenseridae, anadromous shads and bjelorybiza. On the basis of the study of their breeding habits, of the estimation of the relative value of different river sections in the reproduction of the fishes, and the working out of fishcultural norms, measures were devised for the maintenance and increase of the stocks of anadromous fishes of the Volga-river.
